A word from Andy
Why we're doing this
I came to Bristol in 2011 to film my adventure series on CBeebies, and never left. I fell in love with the city, and now everything I love is here: my work, my family and a brilliant community of friends and neighbours.
It's also where I came to know Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal and the extraordinary work they do for Bristol Children's Hospital. Through many visits to see the children, a few 'Grand' openings, and filming the CBeebies show Hospital Heroes to celebrate the amazing children, their carers and nurses, I have seen first-hand the incredible difference they make.
As a dad of three, spending any time in that hospital changes you. You can't help but be moved by the strength of the children, the exhaustion and hope of the parents, and the tireless brilliance of the staff who look after them.
This year marks 20 years of me getting to do the job I love: two decades of songs, stories, dinosaurs, and being lucky enough to be a small part of childhoods up and down the country. It's a milestone I never imagined reaching when I started, and I wanted to mark it properly. Not with a party, but by giving something back to a charity that's genuinely close to my heart.
So we're doing something a little bit mad. 24 hours of padel, in Bristol, with as many of my celebrity friends as I can drag onto a court. There's no producer margin, and all the net proceeds go to Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, straight to Bristol Children's Hospital, for more equipment, more comfort, and more hope for the families who need it most.

To The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity (registered charity 1043603). No producer margin. Event costs are underwritten by sponsors. 100% of net proceeds go to The Grand Appeal.
How can I play?

Can my company get involved?
Yes. Sponsorship packages and corporate captain slots are available. Send us an enquiry to discuss further.
Can I watch if I can't be there?

Yes. There will be family and junior courts so everyone can have a go.
